The Republicans’ Better Care Reconciliation Act makes me want to smack the grin off McConnell’s face. This plan may be “better” for the wealthy, the private insurance companies, the pharmaceutical companies and medical supply companies. For the rest of us – not so much. Our Washington representatives continue to waste time and money devising all sorts of “fixes” to a convoluted, dysfunctional system. It is time to fix the problem with National Improved Medicare for All – which also has been shown to save the US $375 billion annually. (BMC Health Services Research).
